DEATHGASM is a 2015 horror comedy from New Zealand, and the first feature Howden directed. It follows a teenage heavy metal band who get hold of an old piece of sheet music, play it, and accidentally call up a demon known as The Blind One. It premiered at South by Southwest in March 2015, and its mix of gore, jokes and heavy metal has made it a favourite with horror fans and metalheads alike.
